Take a look at how Reamer Appraisals Inc. makes ordering easier

Way back when, a lot of our orders arrived via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we got back into the office. Often, in this scenario, it might of taken far too long to hear back to see if the order could be taken. Things are quite a bit different now and when an order is placed on the site, we receive an e-mail on our phones. We often log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.

At Reamer Appraisals Inc. we understand it's all about "cycle time". We use our resources to reduce waiting between communications since the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. This website has proven to reduce cycle time for us and our clients by enhancing our communications.

Using Technology in the Field

Gathering the data for an appraisal is an intensive process. We spend a great deal of time collecting the facts on the subject property and the local market data and trends. Once again, technology has stepped in to help Reamer Appraisals Inc..

We've learned that taking notes regularly, using pencil and paper, generally takes longer since we we have to enter everything back in at the office. Don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using an application developed for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on the spot. Rather than using that clumsy old tape measure, a larger percentage appraisers are beginning to use laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.

Using this technology allows us to ensure that your report is accurate, requiring fewer call-backs and revisions. Our goal is to save you time and money.

Here at Reamer Appraisals Inc. we want you to know you have more options to receive your report.

At a very minimum, you can expect us to deliver your final report electronically as a PDF. Generally our clients are most comfortable with receiving PDFs attached to their e-mail. It's much more efficient than the old days when everything was on paper. But, we've even been able to improve on e-mail with report delivery with this website.

Everyone knows how frustrating it is to lose a file. Or have you ever had an attachment blocked because it was too big? We've come up with a solution for those problems, too.  Whenever we send an appraisal, the client is e-mailed a download link to retrieve the PDF. By bypassing email completely we can get around any problems caused by file size. And the best thing is that the file will be hosted on this site for 90 days. So if you lose the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again without even calling us or waiting for us to get to a computer so we can send it again.

Finally, we use all digital workfiles...

It would be great if appraisers could complete a report, give it to the client and never worry about revisiting that document again. But one of the purposes of an appraisal is as a legal document outlining the condition of a property on a specific date. Therefore, appraisers are required by law to keep their reports for 5 years, allowing them to recall any appraisal at any time to either defend the valuation or to be used in other legal proceedings.

To sum it all up, Reamer Appraisals Inc. uses all the technology available to us technology to improve service. We store every part of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we can pull up the entire file whenever it's needed and recall just what that assignment was about.

These are just a few examples of how we use technology daily. Utilizing the right software, services, gadgets and gizmos allows the appraiser to collect the appraisal data to finish the report faster and more accurately than previously possible.
